USDG

USDG is the Global Dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos, with 6 decimals. All prices, margin and payouts are denominated in it. Mainnet 0x5fc5360D0400a0Fd4f2af552ADD042D716F1d168, testnet 0x7E955252E15c84f5768B83c41a71F9eba181802F.

USDG is not a plain ERC-20. The issuer can pause the contract and freeze individual addresses.

A frozen address cannot send or receive. A contract pushing funds during settlement would revert on one frozen participant and strand everyone in that position, so AGORA credits balances and the holder calls withdraw(). A pause halts all USDG transfers; positions remain intact and settle when the pause lifts.

Spending USDG requires an allowance. AGORA requests a bounded allowance sized to the session rather than an unlimited one.
