Custody

One token corresponds to one physical object with one serial number — not a fraction, a basket, or a claim on a pool. Token supply for an item equals the number of those items in custody.

The token records keccak256(serial ‖ salt) rather than the serial. The hash identifies the object without publishing which wallet owns which physical unit. Serials are guessable, so an unsalted hash would let anyone build that registry.

Items are insured while in custody and separately insured in transit after redemption. Custody and insurance are provided by third-party vaults.

AGORA does not guarantee resale value, does not undertake to buy an item back outside the draw buyback, and does not hold customer USDG balances. If a vault fails, recourse is against the vault and its insurer.
